The Rockies 3.0
In 2015 I spent 2 weeks with my Great Aunty in Canada and it was epic. She was 80 years old at the time and an absolute go getter. We kayaked, hiked and explored British Columbia, all the while laughing and eating fresh corn straight off the cob.
At one point she asked if I'd like to join her on a trek with friends. Heck yes. We hiked to a remote hut and spent 4 days basking in the glory of the Canadian Rockies. At one point we hiked across to a lake on a nearby summit. The views made me dance around in excitement. I eventually set up my camera and ran very fast to give it perspective.
